4 Day Gorilla Trekking Safari in Rwanda and Uganda Combined

The 4-day gorilla safari package is highly recommended to those interested in experiencing gorilla tracking in both Uganda and Rwanda. The trip starts and ends in Kigali, the capital city of Rwanda, and below is the proposed itinerary;

Day 1: Transfer from Kigali (Rwanda) to Uganda

Pick up from your hotel in Kigali, visit the Gisozi Genocide Memorial Site, have lunch, then hit the road to the Katuna border, cross into Uganda, and spend an overnight at Gorilla Mist Camp or Broadbill Forest Camp in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.

Day 2: Gorilla trekking in Uganda, cross the border back to Rwanda

Breakfast followed by a gorilla trekking experience in the Ruhija sector of Bwindi National Park. After lunch, drive to Rwanda via the Cyanika border, then dinner and overnight at Le Bambou Gorilla Lodge or Mountain Gorilla View Lodge.

Day 3: Gorilla trekking in Rwanda, evening community tour

Another gorilla trek in Volcanoes National Park in Rwanda, and an evening excursion to Gorilla Guardians Village.

Day 4: Reserved for departure

A relaxed morning with beautiful views of the Virunga ranges, later hit the road back to Kigali International Airport for your onward flight.
