Gorilla Volcanoes Hotel is situated in the heart of Ruhengeri approximately 25 minutes drive to the volcanoes national park headquarters where you start and end your gorilla trekking trip and other tours in the Volcanoes National Park.
The hotel has over 35 rooms, on about four floors, and each has been decorated in a genuinely simple, however agreeable way. Every room has twin or double beds, balcony overlooking the garden and swimming pool area, and en suite bathrooms – these are small, but contain a shower over the bath toilet and a sink and have 24 hours hot running water. The Hotel also offers TV in every room. There is a swimming pool and a gym here, and a restaurant.
Situated on quite a busy street in Ruhengeri, this is not a serene location as the street can be very noisy at times, but this is the only hotel in the region with a swimming pool, and if you want to stroll around the town and eat at different restaurant, this is a suitable option for you.
