National Parks in Rwanda
Rwanda has mainly 3 National Parks namely;

Volcanoes national Park; This is a home to Mountain gorillas in Rwanda, located in northern Rwanda, just 2hrs drive from Kigali airport. The main tour activity here is gorilla tracking, also golden monkey tracking, birding, community walks and hiking to Dian Fossey Tombs.

Nyungwe National Park, located in western part of the country, 5hrs drive from Kigali, a home to 13 primate species that include colobus monkeys, Chimpanzees, Vervets, Blue Monkeys, Red-tailed monkeys, etc. Primates tracking, village walks, birding and canopy walk are the major tourist activities here.

Akegera National Park, located in Eastern park of the country, 3hrs drive from Kigali, famous for wildlife safaris being a home to wild animals like Giraffes, elephants, Antelopes, baboons, Hippos, birds, etc. The major tour activities are game drives, birding and Boat ride.
